* The academic session is divided into 4 Cycle Tests of equal weightage (25% each).
* Grading system of evaluation is followed for classes I -II.
* Learners are promoted to the next class on the basis of their overall performance.
* Learners must also have attended the school for a minimum of 75% of the working days and should have nothing against them as far as their discipline and conduct is concerned.
* For promotion to next class the written tests as well as the internal assessments would be considered and a learner must score at least D grade in all the major subjects.

1. There will be two terms for eachacademic session.
a. First Term will be assessed based on Periodic/Unit Test I and Mid Term Examination.
b. Second Term will be assessedbased on Periodic/Unit Test II and Annual Examination.
Syllabus for both the terms will be separate. The question papersfor the Mid Term Examination will be set out of thesyllabus of First Term (Periodic/UnitTest I + Mid Term) and Annual Examination will be held from the syllabus ofSecond Term(Periodic/Unit Test II and Annual Examination) only.

5. Passing Criteria for class V: The promotion to the next higher classis subject to thecondition :
* A student must secure at least 33% marks in each subject studied by him/her during the session. He/she must secure overall 33% marks i.e. 33 marks out of 100 [attendance(5 marks) + Subject Enrichment(5 marks) + Project Based Activities(5 marks) + Portfolio(5 marks) + Multiple Assessments(5 marks) +Periodic Assessments(5 marks) + Mid Term Examination(20 marks) + Annual Examination(50 marks) put together]
*A minimum of 25% of marks must be scored in Mid Term Examination + Annual Examination i.e., 18 out of 70 in each subject.
*Student will not be eligible to appear in Annual Exam, if he/she has not put in at least 75% attendance during the session up to the date of Annual Exam. The attendance for the session will be counted for the working days from the date of admission/first day of the session.
